History/Overview
Now in its 10th generation, the Accord is Honda's mid-size sedan model. It was last redesigned in 2018 and moves into 2020 with no changes.
Available Trims
Honda offers the Accord sedan in LX, Sport, EX-L and Touring trims. All start with a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that options to a 2.0L turbo in Sport and Touring. Sport trim comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission; optional is an automatic CVT with the 1.5L and a 10-speed automatic with the 2.0L. LX, EX-L and Touring are automatic-only.

Standard Features
Accord LX comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, capless fuel filling, an electric parking brake, heated side mirrors, a front wiper de-icer, LED headlights (auto on/off), LED daytime running lights and taillights, a 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster display, dual-zone automatic climate control, passive keyless entry, remote engine start, tilt-and-telescopic steering, a 12-way power driver's seat with lumbar, heated front seats, and an eight-speaker stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Standard safety kit includes forward collision warning with automatic braking, tire pressure monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, driver attention monitor, road departure mitigation, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control.
Sport trim (1.5L and 2.0L) adds 19-inch wheels, the Honda LaneWatch blind spot display, a sunroof, a decklid spoiler and aluminum pedals, near field communication for smartphone pairing, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and shifter, leatherette/fabric seating, and a 10-speaker stereo.
EX-L reverts to 17-inch wheels, and adds chrome door handles, grille shutters, an acoustic windshield, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated garage door opener, driver's seat memory, a power front passenger seat, heated rear seats and steering wheel, perforated leather upholstery, and satellite radio.
Touring (1.5L and 2.0L) gains blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, LED high beams, rain-sensing wipers, ambient interior lighting, navigation, a head-up display, front and rear parking sensors, wireless smartphone charging, ventilated front seats, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Fuel Economy
Honda's fuel consumption estimates are 7.9/6.3 L/100 km (city/highway) with the 1.5L/CVT powertrain (1.5L Sport CVT estimates are higher, at 8.2/6.8 L/100 km) and 8.9/6.7 for the 1.5L/6MT combination. 2.0L/10AT models are rated 10.4/7.4 L/100 km, and 2.0L/6MT estimates are 10.7/7.3.

Among the Honda Accord's key competitors are the Toyota Camry, the Nissan Altima, Hyundai's Sonata, the Kia Optima, Volkswagen's Passat, the Mazda6, and the Chevrolet Malibu.
